Princess Cut Diamond Rings

1.75 carat princess cut diamond engament ring, it has 3 stone’s 1 -.75 and 2 -.5 ct stones the band is yellow gold and thick with the set being past present and future as a 14kt white gold setting.

I’m thinking about getting a princess cut engagement ring for my fiance. What do you think of the look of these rings, and what is your favorite?

Also, what is the general consensus on the appearance from the side of the ring for a V-prong setting? Is it too much metal covering the diamond? I know V prongs offer much more support and are more effective in the long run, but I’m just trying to get a gauge on my fiancee to be’s preference, etc… Gemologists advice preferred. Don’t give me 2 cents, I want a Dollar.

For the settings without a center stone, we have a 0.51 karat princess cut diamond picked out…it’s gorgeous

I know in the end what we like is all that matters, but I just would like to see other people’s opinions as well…if you could rate them 1-3 with your favorite first & any reasons that’d be great.

Im looking to buy my fiancee a new engagement ring, as she lost her other which was only like a 3 stone .65 carat total weight ring. She wants this 2 ct. ring from zales which I can’t afford. However, i have found a 1.5 ct total weight emerald cut ring for half the cost. The center is .44ct, 2 bagettes equal .46ct, and it has the princess cut diamonds on the band the total .60ct. The clarity of the diamonds are VS1 and color of F which is really good I think. Do yall think she would be happy with this?? Is this a nice size ring for a family on a strict budget?? We are getting married in June and I really want her to have another ring by then,

I’m looking at engagement rings to get for my girlfriend and need a little bit of help. I know about the 4 c’s now and want to get the best value for under ,500. She wants a 3 stone past present future, princess cut ring. She was looking online to give me an idea and actually showed me this ring:

It sounds too good to be true, so is it? I was reading the reviews and it sounded like it got pretty good ones. I mean, I know this isn’t going to be a top of the line diamond in cut, color, clarity but is it a good purchase? If you don’t like it, you have 30 days to send it back. I have a solder bridal ring set. A princess cut solitaire diamond and a diamond band. Can the jeweler unsolder the ring then take the small round diamond from the band and place it along the side of the solitaire ring? It’s a white gold wedding set with the wedding band having a total of 2 carats made up of 12 princess cut diamonds and the engagement ring having a total of 2.5 carats with a centre princess cut 0.75 carat diamond and 4 princess cut diamonds on either side of the centre stone (8 total). what would be the approximate value of each ring and the set? I was thinking lillies for center pieces but i want to involve fox glove somewhere in the wedding (he picked foxglove for me on our first date) We want an outdoor wedding in a garden. I was thinking salmon for dinner but i am a vegetarian so more optiions too. For the reception i was thinking a jazz band, but violins for the ceremony.I was thinking hair in an elegant bun.But i don’t know what color to theme the wedding, so i can’t pick bridesmaid dresses yet, or pick accents for our cake!

Ok i AM focusing on what me and my fiancee want, I just wanted to see what an outsider would think of it, so please if you are going to write nasty comments about how i am attending to my wedding which fyi is going to be the happiest day of my LIFE please don’t comment and piss off a bride to be about her wedding.

I’d want a very small, intimate wedding. As far as guests go, I’d only want my immediate family there. My mom, brother, and grandparents. And maybe my closest friends if they feel like family to me. I’d want the same for my fiance, just his family & closest friends.

I’d want a destination wedding. I’m torn between 2 places, either Sweden, where my grandparents live & where I plan to settle down after college, or this place –> http://tinypic.com/r/2db9fzr/7 <–, I have no clue where that is, it’s just a screensavor, but the minute I saw it I could picture myself walking down that dock to get married.

As far as the dress goes, I’d want something soft and romantic, with a corset, sweetheart neckline, and a full skirt made of tulle. I wouldn’t spend ludacris amounts of money on the dress though, like 00 would be enough. I watch Say Yes to the Dress sometimes & can’t believe it when people pay upwards of 00 for a dress they will wear ONCE in their life, it’s insane.

Since it’s such a small wedding their won’t really be a color scheme or anything like that. I think I’d just get married at that dock & then go to a REALLY nice restraunt & eat food, cut cake, and maybe dance or something. Then I’d say bye to the guests & start my honeymoon, which would be a week long of traveling! First we’d fly to Paris, & spend a day or two there, & then… well, I haven’t figured out where else we’ll go yet, but it will be a week of excitment and adventure, that’s for sure!

The whole affair would only last a few hours. I’m guessing it will still be pretty expensive though, since it’s a destination wedding and all. Hopefully since I’ll be working as a flight attendant I can get a discount on the tickets & keep it somewhat reasonable, I think under ,000 would be a good price for a decent wedding. & I think the ideal age to get married at would be 24, after a year long engagment. I also want a platinum or white gold princess cut diamond ring when I’m propopsed to. (=
